Utah

The beaches in Utah are great for vacations and day trips. The south shores of the Great Salt Lake are known for their excellent beaches that are more natural and less crowded than most beaches around Salt Lake City, such as the Beach at Bridger Bay on Great Salt Lake.

For beautiful beaches with great scenery, drive on over to Utah Lake, which has several well-known beaches along its eastern shores including Lincoln Beach, Sandy Beach, and American Fork Beach.

Beaches can be found at most of Utah’s many State Parks, including Snow Canyon State Park near St George. Sandy beaches are located along the Virgin River that cuts through the town and heads off into the desert and. All kinds of animals come down to the river to sun themselves on these beaches including lizards, snakes, birds, and deer.
