You’ll also find great beaches in Reno along the scenic Truckee River which features 12 miles of public access shoreline through downtown Reno. Nearby Sparks Marina Beach, located at 300 Sparks Blvd, Sparks, NV 89431, operates under a concession agreement with the Sparks Marina Special Improvement District, which maintains public access along an approximately one mile stretch of shoreline that’s perfect for jogging or walking along. Here you can enjoy views of water skiers in action during the warm summer months when it becomes especially popular with locals!

If you’re looking for beaches near Lake Tahoe then don’t miss Zephyr Cove Beach in Nevada and Emerald Bay State Park Beach in California – both are fantastic. Zephyr Cove Beach is located off of US 50 near Emerald Bay State Park near South Lake Tahoe. At Zephyr Cove you’ll enjoy scenic views of mountains that tower into the sky while relaxing on fine white sand next to turquoise waters where you can also launch boats from boat ramps for a small fee.
