Best Beaches in Montana

Montana is one of the most beautiful states in America. It’s home to some amazing natural wonders, including Glacier National Park, Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest, and Flathead Lake. The state also has a wide variety of outdoor activities for people who enjoy hiking, skiing, or camping in the wilderness.

Montana also boasts many great beaches that are perfect for relaxing on any time of year. Here are three of Montana’s best beaches:

East Beach

This beach is located about 20 minutes from downtown Missoula near the Clark Fork River. There are plenty of places to picnic and play with your dog while you watch boats go by on this small riverfront town beach.

Big Arm State Park

Located south of Kalispell on Highway 93, Big Arm State Park is a really nice place to go for a picnic and spend time at the beach. Located along Flathead Lake, Big Arm State Park has a small beach with views overlooking the mountains. There are also several hiking trails through the woods and along the beach that makes this park an ideal location for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors.

Goat Lick Beach

Goat Lick Beach can be found near Polson between Kings Hill Scenic Byway and Flathead Lake. It provides plenty of parking and a large lawn area where you can sit back and relax while enjoying the view of the mountains in Glacier National Park across the way.

Beaches are a must-see for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors, and Montana has plenty of them. Whether you’re looking for a secluded lakefront property or a small riverside beach to take your family on the weekends, there is definitely at least one beach you’ll enjoy in this state.
